Back on Track – 6 Weeks to Better Health

Fallen off the wagon with your health? Struggling with nutrition, exercise, and motivation for self-care?

Join Dr. Laura Jones as she leads a new 6-week “Back on Track to Health” Series this winter, designed to get our community back on track with nutrition goals, exercise habits, sleep schedules and stress management. This series will meet weekly on Thursdays in our classroom from 5:30-7:00pm at Whole Health Concord starting January 12th. This is a revised version of the 4-week class that was a huge success this past fall. She has modified this to a 6-week class for even better results and class curriculum will be similar, but modified some to allow graduates of the previous group to join again if they would like. Baseline labs, body composition scan, measurements and weight will be tracked by Dr. Jones prior to starting the program and again following the program to compare and assess progress. Class topics will include healthy nutrition with a focus on a lower carbohydrate, Mediterranean meal plan; meal and recipe ideas will be provided. Dr. Jones will also cover how to initiate and implement a healthy exercise regime, the importance of stress management and strategies to build resiliency to stress. Sleep hygiene and the important roles of sleep will also be covered. Foundational supplement suggestions will be provided along with our favorite tools for tracking health and holding yourself accountable as you work towards your health goals. Participants will be asked to keep nutrition and exercise logs. Grab a spouse or a friend and come join our journey to better health!
